What should I wear?

It’s up to you! Many of our members wear business casual attire (such as a collared shirt/tie or a dress/skirt), while others feel more comfortable wearing casual attire.

Man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart. While we encourage people to dress their best to honour God and dress modestly, we believe that the heart is most important. We are excited to welcome you and look forward to worshipping God with you.

Do I have to give something to the offering plate?

No. If you are not a regular attendee or member of the church, there is no obligation to contribute. But, if you would like to give something, feel free to do so.

How long are your Sunday services?

On a typical Sunday morning, our service is about an hour and a half. It includes singing hymns as a congregation, prayer, testimonies, and a message from God’s Word. In the message, our pastor teaches from a Bible passage and explains how to apply God’s Word to everyday living.

Will I be asked to do anything?

No. We don’t expect visitors to pray aloud or do anything special. While the pastor may welcome you from the pulpit, feel free to relax and enjoy the service. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible and be spiritually refreshed from God’s Word.

What kind of music do you have?

We sing the traditional hymns of the faith, accompanied by piano. Some of our musically gifted members also sing special music and play instruments from time to time. Whether you are musically gifted or not, feel free to join in our singing and make a joyful noise to the Lord!

Should I bring my kids?

Absolutely! We are a church for the whole family! We have a broad range of kids in our congregation from babies to teenagers. We offer nursery for ages 0-5 during the service. While the pastor preaches his sermon, kids from 6-11 can attend junior church downstairs. Junior church includes Bible stories and teaching, activities, and age-appropriate memory verses.

Do you have a nursery?

Yes! We have a nursery for ages 0-5. Our experienced nursery staff will take care of your little ones so you can enjoy the service. Mothers are welcome to stay with their children in nursery if they would like.

I don’t have a Bible…is that okay?

Absolutely! There are Bibles and hymnbooks in every pew, and you can feel free to use them during your visit.
